A legal disclaimer- In the Event of Something Happening to Me, Run to Me, because The World is Round, and you're a Holiday [di di di di di...Pipi]. I Can't See Nobody [my eyes can only look at you Baby!] , and How Can You Mend Broken Heart [with one ear covered]?

Juana Baldonado Vergara, died April 14, 2011 (3:37am), 87yrs old
She is missed by the generations she left behind. Always thinking of the well-being others before herself. To the end, she got stronger, stood straighter, when seeing or hearing anyone she holds dear. I offer a toast of 'sioktong' in her honor.

Good-bye Thia. If she showed as much emotion as she did here, she might have made it to the top. As it is, it's not just singing. It's showmanship. I stopped watching after season 5.

Holy Achy Breaky Heart! This isn't Hannah Montana! A Britney and Madonna wannabe perhaps. Or what came out of Lady Gaga's egg. Nothing like her godmother Dolly.

I complain about 100 channels and nothing to watch [basic plan] yet have 136 unwatched programs saved on my DVR.

I have this thing for smart women who examine dead bodies...Bones, Crossing Jordan, Scully. Love the 'come back' actresses Dana Delany [China Beach] and Jeri Ryan [Seven of Nine].

A comedy about geeks, or is it the actors are geeks?!? Slater's previous shows died; Rosenbaum quit being Luthor; will bringing in various guest stars keep it going more than half a season?
--------------------------------------------------------
I am reading Classics Mutilated,  a fun anthology of short stories [yes, I do read] at night, alone. So why do I hear footsteps and whistling?

What follows are my thoughts, recently...

"On my planet to rest is to rest. To cease using energy. To me it is quite illogical to run up and down on green grass, using energy instead of saving it." Mr Spock "Shore Leave"
----------
I was re-Born in 1979 Tanay, Philippines. I sorta' danced like #9. Who's your fav?
----------
Global Warming: loss of the Azolla fern 49 million years ago; hot air by politicians and extremist corporations; environmentalists scared shitless; competitive terraformig contests between extra-terestrials, time-travellers, and sub-magma life forms.

I do not think much of a man who is not wiser today than he was yesterday. - Abraham Lincoln
Rodney Rivera- Comes from a man who never experienced being senile!
----------
re 21st century ghost towns- I'm ready to hitch up the covered wagon, mobile home, or invest in a bus conversion. I would consider turning a bus into a mobile home when I retire. Running on greasel instead of $10/gal gas.
----------
I take a personal stand, not take sides. Male or female, Catholic or Protestant, Democrat or Republican, Klingon or Romulan. I am what I am, based on biology, social and economc definitions.
Catherine Gloria Tripp responds-  I think that an uncompromising moral stand is ok. In my experience, atheists take the Don't Lie Don't Murder, Don't Steal stuff alot more seriously than the folks that want the 10 commandments in the schools.
----------
I do not 'like' Polls, FB Questions, Ask Yahoo, and following lemmings. I value YOUR opinions, so post a comment any time. Like votes and petitions, I don't need your input on a pre-selected list. On multiple choice questionnaires A to D, I choose E.

Limits is what makes us what we are. It makes us appreciate what we have. Immortality would be boring. Wealth birings relatives. World peace leads to overpopulation.
----------
Appearance is everything. Shows pride. Presenting product and features off the bat is important; that's why I'm here. Leave me alone until I look confused, but don't wait until I have to call you. Invite me, ask me for my e-mail if I look happy when leaving. NOT when I just got here! Many web pages are guilty of this!
Oh yeah, did I mention...leave me alone until I look confused!

Emily Gunn- I guess SOME of us just AREN'T getting older which is why we haven't lost the appetite yet! hee hee!

It's not because of my age, really. I learned 3 years ago that eating less, more times in the day is healthier. It keeps your stomach from enlarging [especially when you age] and craving to keep it full. Eating, drinking, breathing in moderation.

As for one of the first things you lose as you get older...well let's just say I'm not married or dating.

Ten bucks for a meal?!? Minimum? $50 for a good steak dinner? I remember when meals were a buck and some change; what a candy bar is now! Ten for the steak, everything! What happened in 30 plus years?!?

The $1 items add up to $6; the $5 adds yp to $9 with the $2 drinks not included. Don't even get me started on fancy coffee! David, right on! Safeway sale section is good enough for me!
Thankfully, I don't have to impress anyone with dinner and a movie.
Red box!!!

The US dollar soon to be worthless.

Catholic Books, Religious Gifts, Rosaries. Hayward, California
Rude and condescending. Being the only such store that advertises in the East Bay, I suppose she can afford to be. I rate this small store 2 funerals.

My Mom is looking for 'bells on poles' used to put out candles. "They are a special order, but until we can come up with an exact size, she won't order [you] one." The point is, the proprietress talks down to people and offers no suggestion. I listened to her interact with a couple of other customers and I was so pissed just looking at her that I waited outside. I wouldn't go back there even if it was for a refund!

Fringe
JJ Abrams is famous for convoluted storylines. Like Alias and Lost. He is a fan of the 1960s Star Trek. It shows in the series. Even if this show is like a mix of X-Files, CSI, and NCIS, there are story plots that are right from a Star Trek episode. An alternate world- "Mirror, Mirror." A doomsday device that can obliterate a universe, or save one- 'Genesis Device' in ST II and III. Passing a consciousness at death- "Search For Spock."
The meaning of my profile picture, in video. To me, Fringe is just a copy of this classic, intro and everything.

"You are in a position to demand NOTHING! I, on the other hand am in a position to grant you...nothing."- Kahn Noonian Singh to Cmdr Chekov
"Ask and you shall recieve" maybe; 'Stay silent and you are assured that you will recieve nothing'- anonymous parent and benefactor
"Charity begins at Home"...I have soooo many comments about that!
--------------------------------------------------------
I am not against religion, government, the law, and money. I hate people who use them to justify their lying lives! Hiding behind the Bible, Quo-ran, Constitution and Bill of Rights will not protect you. Not from a bullet! mot from a natural disaster, I believe in honesty to fellow beings, which none of the above can truly attest to.

Comment to Scott- You DO know that 'God's people' have always been cast out. Eden, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Flood, Babel. Not even welcome to 'their homeland' by Caanites, Phillistines, and later Moors, Arabs, and Palestinians. God did not help them then. Does not help them now. Britain 'gave' them land that wasn't ever theirs.

Isrealis and Jews are not the same thing. One is a national identity, the other is a way of life. Neither of which are 'christian.' Don't get me wrong...I am persecuting neither. Jews were TOLERATED by a Church that condemned other religious people except Jews, because they lent money. Something the Church would not do. Hence' our banking system and debt society.

Isreal itself is not without its atrocities. They are not international innocents. They have nothing to offer the international markets. To me They are the 'wolf in sheep's clothing.' It is said that the only way they will be at home is with God, at the end of all.

On the sixth day, God created Man. As an afterthought He created Woman. Because Adam couldn't even wipe his own butt!

Interesting...I guess this review is never going away.

"Pray for the Water of Fukushima, Japan"
Water prayer? Really? Are we reverting to worhipping elements of nature? What's next? kissing and kneeling to wooden figurines for peace?
--------------------------------------------------------
Jokes based on race, nationality, profession, and lately, life-style have always been funny, although now not PC. Except by one of their own. Insults are just rude, except from Don Rickles. And insulting someone IS harmful. "Sticks and stones..." does not apply in this 'age of depressive disorders.'

Claire and Lori, I mentioned this before. Now see the Minority Report scene. You walk into a mall and are 'eye-dentified' by a poster's scanner. An ad is processed especdially for you. Your name and buying habits are taken from a database.
Many years ago at Universal Studios, at the E.T. ride, you write your name on a tag with an electronic pen. When you leave, a PA thanks you by name.

Yellow Alert: A man has been seen running out of the Japan nuclear plant with a beer in one hand and an un-spent rod in the other. Described as yellow-skinned, near-bald, bulgy eyes, and four fingers. Do not approach, just call to warn the nearest pub. This has been a public announcement.
